They had fire in them—those women from Hull known as the allumettières. Brave, united, and often underestimated, they left a lasting mark on the history of the Outaouais with a bright, enduring spark. This coffee pays tribute to them, a nod to their quiet strength and their forgotten yet essential role.
Originally from Colombia, this coffee comes exclusively from women producers certified under Mujeres Cafeteras de Santander, an initiative that supports women in coffee cultivation, from farm to cup.
On the palate, Les allumettières is a comforting awakening with notes of milk chocolate, toffee, and praline. Smooth yet bold, it both comforts and inspires.
